Self –motivated, hard working, with a range of different dance style experience such as breaking, popping, house, Commercial Street, contemporary and ballet. I am looking for a challenging position within a company in which to build upon my diverse dance background and work experience in order to contribute to the company’s growth and success. I am a graceful dancer who is strong and possess a good sense of rhythm, fluidity, musicality and the ability to express myself freely though movement.   • My main responsibility was to assist groups of young people, from the age of 4 to 18, in the development of their literacy and numeracy skills. I do this by reading with them as well as marking their written work.

Communication

 

  • Excellent communication skills- My past dance experience has led me to develop this area, which is an important tool to have in the performance industry.

  • Strong communication skills gained from previous jobs and studies. My previous academic study has expanded my communication skills in terms of writing, speaking and listening. Excellent at presentations and speaking front of audiences consisting of both lecturers and students. I also have no problem speaking to members of the public.

 

Organisation

 

  • I am able to organise my work in keeping with company Health and Safety regulations, for example at Marks & Spencer’s and Kumon Company it was necessary to do this.

  • Throughout my studies I have been able to allocate a certain amount of time to leisure activities and work, without allowing my studies and dance activities to suffer.

2008:                 performed at the library theater ‘slave trade’ (drama play)

2010:               performed Hair Spray at the Pendleton collage (musical theater)
